Maverick MINIs is a community of MINI & Mini Cooper enthusiasts. The web site and Forum are here to enhance the exchange of information and communication between MINI Cooper owners and enthusiasts. When participating in this Forum, please adhere to the following COMMUNITY GUIDELINES:

ACCOUNTS

Each member may have only one Maverick MINIs user account.
During registration, you must provide a valid email address, if you do not your account will not be activated.
During registration, if you leave your profile data blank your account will not be activated. We'd like to know a little bit about our fellow MINI enthusiasts.
You will have 30 days from the date of registration to post on Maverick MINIs. If you do not post, your account may be deemed abandoned, resulting in de-activation and/or deletion.

STAY ON-TOPIC
Posts must be on-topic, relating to the discussion of MINI Coopers or other related topics. Posts in the wrong discussion areas will be moved and posts that are not on topic will be deleted without notice.

SHOW RESPECT
When posting, be respectful of fellow members and vendors. Personal attacks and flames will not be tolerated. If you feel you are being attacked, report the post or private message to a Moderator or Site Administrator. Do not reply or flame back. Offensive posts or threads may be deleted or locked without notice.

SEARCH FIRST
Please do not start duplicate threads or cross-post the same thread in different forums. Use the Search function to see if there is an existing thread on the same topic.

KEEP IT CLEAN
Do not post explicit, obscene or vulgar language or images and do not solicit or offer explicit, X-rated, or similar content. The same restrictions apply to the private messaging system.

OBEY THE LAW
Posts relating to street racing, excessive speeding, or violations of other laws are prohibited. Posts of this nature may be deleted or locked without notice.

VENDORS AND/OR SPONSORSHIP
At this time, we do not allow advertising -in any form- on this board and there is zero tolerance for violators.

BACK IT UP
If you are a vendor selling a product, and you make a quantitative claim about its function or performance, be prepared to provide data to back up that claim. This is a discussion forum; posts of this nature will result in questions, scrutiny and discussions.

NO OTHER SITES
Advertising of products or solicitation of traffic for other websites is forbidden without prior express written permission from Maverick MINIs.

POLITICS & BANNING
Discussions related to politics and banning are not permitted. Comments or questions regarding banning should be sent to admin@maverickminis.com.

PERSONAL STYLE
A maximum of 300 characters OR an image with dimensions of 500 pixels wide by 100 pixels high and filesize of 40k or less is allowed.

DISQUALIFICATION
Violation of any of the above rules can result in the offender being issued a first warning by the Moderation Team via email or PM or de-activation of the user's account. Additional violations will result in the offender being permanently banned from the site. Interpretation and enforcement of these guidelines is done by the Moderators and Administrators of Maverick MINIs and all judgments are final. It is not possible to list every possible contingency and variation on each rule, hence the need for human interpretation by the above parties for each specific case.

Legal Information

PRIVACY
Maverick MINIs does not collect personal information through this website. Registration is required and information is collected in certain portions of the web site in which guests specifically and knowingly provide such information along with content submissions, community postings (i.e., chat or bulletin boards). Maverick MINIs may use such information to track compliance with our web site terms of use, or for editorial and feedback purposes but we do not share or sell your information with third parties.

IP ADDRESSES
Our web servers collect IP addresses when posts are submitted and when pages are requested from Maverick MINIs. We do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable. This means that a user's session will be logged, but the user remains anonymous to us unless issues of security arise in which IP addresses may be turned over to local, state and national authorities.

USE OF EMAIL ADDRESSES
To use the Maverick MINIs Forum, a valid email address is required for all member accounts. Your email address will not be sold or provided to other third parties. This site reserves the right to use your email address as follows:

To contact members related to their activity on the site
To notify members of site changes/improvements, site-related products/services, events, and news from the community.
To provide email notifcations for private messages and posts to discussions they have participated in
